World’s demand for potash fertilizers recovers
Russian producer Uralkali signed a contract with China, which has set a lower margin for prices on other markets and is showing a recovery in demand for potash because the deal was closed at a higher price than originally proposed by the Chinese company.
For Belaruskali, this means an increase in physical volumes of supplies as a result of the increased demand for potash fertilizers on the world market and rising prices on other markets, which will lead to an increase in the company’s foreign currency proceeds.
During searches of social and "green" activists and anarchists, law enforcement has seized computers, mobile phones and publications. The authorities have also exerted additional pressure on supporters of unauthorized street protests and independent lawyers, who represented defendants in the White Legion case.
