Russian producer Uralkali signed a contract with China, which has set a lower margin for prices on other markets and is showing a recovery in demand for potash because the deal was closed at a higher price than originally proposed by the Chinese company.

For Belaruskali, this means an increase in physical volumes of supplies as a result of the increased demand for potash fertilizers on the world market and rising prices on other markets, which will lead to an increase in the company’s foreign currency proceeds.
