Belarus new defence doctrine requires coordination with Russia

Belarus has adopted a new military doctrine, and the House of Representatives should approve it during the spring session. The new military doctrine, like the old one, “is purely defensive”, it does not consider any state as a potential enemy, but it includes countermeasures to a “hybrid war”. After the new military doctrine of the Republic of Belarus is approved, a new military doctrine of the Union State shall be elaborated, including Belarus and Russia (the latter also adopted a new military doctrine in 2015).
