Professor Shushkevich will be awarded honoris causa degree in Warsaw

Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) is pleased to invite to a graduation ceremony of honoris causa degree forProfessor Stanislav Shushkevich. The ceremony will take place on June 5th at 11 am at Main Auditorium, SGH. An online broadcast will be organised for those who can not attend in person.

Professor Stanislav Shushkevich is the first leader of independent Belarus, he was nominated thrice for the Nobel Prise – in 2007, 2008 and 2009. In Belarus, he lead actions aimed at establishing democratic institutions, developing civil society, and creating foundations for market economy. A professor, renowned specialist in radioelectronics and nuclear physics, he is the author of over 150 scientific publications, two manuals, seven monographs, co-author of over 73 inventions. He advised and promoted 33 Ph.D. researches in Mathematics and Physics
