Invitation: Belarus’ side event | Specifics of the Belarusian media space regarding Ukrainian events

Please see below an invitation to the OSCE/ODIHR HDIM side event organized by our partner, Belarusian Analytical Workroom. Please come beforehand if you require registration at the HDIM.

The topic for the Belarusian Analytical Workroom’s latest presentation is “Specifics of the Belarusian media space regarding Ukrainian events”.

One of the speakers is Irina Bekeshkina, the most frequently quoted contemporary Ukrainian sociologist.

We will present a wide range of new empirical data on the general state of mind in Ukraine, Belarus and Russia.

We will attempt to fathom the “secret” of Russian media influence, the formation of the entire region’s mass consciousness as seen through the prism of events in Ukraine, and changes in public opinion that would once have been unimaginable.

This presentation is planned as a side event to accompany the HDIM meeting on October 2, 18:00-20:00, meeting room 2, Sofitel Hotel, ul. Krolewska 11, Warsaw.
