Tatsiana Karatkevich publishes her election program
“Tell the Truth” campaign’s presidential candidates Tatsiana Karatkevich published her election program.
The program is called “For peaceful changes”.
In the sphere of foreign policy Karatkevich promises to keep Belarus neutral, without any foreign military bases at its territory and aim for visa-free regime at least with all of Belarus’ neighboring countries.
Karatkevich also promises a constitutional reform moving Belarus from presidential to presidential-parliamentarian form of government as well as guaranteeing the right of Belarusians to choose their own local leaders.
Economically, Karatkevich promises free medical care and free college education, to overcome inflation, and to modernize enterprises.
The Belarusian language would be supported, as every state official would need to speak both state languages.
The Russian side is grateful to Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko for his decision to go to Russia as the visit after the presidential election, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus Alexander Surikov said in an interview with the STV channel, BelTA has learned.
“We are grateful for this decision,” the Ambassador said.
