The observers will only be able to use video-recording and audio-recording devices if the local election committee allows.
“Za Svabodu” ("For Freedom") movement which plans to have more than 200 observers at the election received a reply from the Central Election Committee. They wanted to know whether they can use photo-cameras, video-cameras and optical devices at the ballot station.
According to the reply signed by head of Central Election Committee Lidziya Yarmoshyna, the usage of photo-cameras and video-cameras will only be allowed if the local election committee decides so. The usage of optical devices is explicitly banned.
