Lukashenka plans to meet Ilham Aliyev
So, his official website reports that Lukashenko will pay an official visit to Russia on 25-26 November. In Moscow he will meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in narrow and then expanded format. Following the meeting the sides are expected to sign international documents.
The visit program also includes meetings with the chairman of RF government Dmitry Medvedev, chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko and State Duma chairman Sergei Naryshkin.
Belarus has already started working a possibility of the visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Minsk before the end of this year.
The Russian side is grateful to Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko for his decision to go to Russia as the visit after the presidential election, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus Alexander Surikov said in an interview with the STV channel, BelTA has learned.
“We are grateful for this decision,” the Ambassador said.
