The Head of Observers Mission hopes for cooperation of all members of the election process
Jacques Faure, the Head of Observers Mission for the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights at OSCE, has made his first statements in a new role. Thus, he hopes for cooperation of all members of the election process and promised not to interfere into it. “We are here as observers”, says Faure, who has also met yesterday with Vladimir Makei, Foreign Minister of Belarus.
The Russian side is grateful to Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko for his decision to go to Russia as the visit after the presidential election, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus Alexander Surikov said in an interview with the STV channel, BelTA has learned.
“We are grateful for this decision,” the Ambassador said.
