Head of Belarus’ Central Election Commission Lidziya Yarmoshyna told that part of the signatures in support of Viktar Tsiareshchanka were deliberately falsified. Many signatures were copied and many signatures were made by other citizens – and according to Yarmoshyna those were the signatures that were critical for Tsiareshchanka’s campaign.

Yarmoshyna also claimed that alleged ‘poisoning’of Tsiareshchanka is a PR trick.
