Head of Belarusian state TV attacks TUT.BY for publishing Global Peace Index before presidential election

Head of Belarusian state TV Hienadz Davydzka accused biggest Belarusian website TUT.BY of deliberately publishing international country ratings before presidential election.

“The owners of TUT.BY understood perfectly well why they published such ratings [Global Peace Index – belarusinfocus.info]: look how weak we are, look how bad we are. In general, this is a planned attack”, – Dabydzka said in his program “Editors club” on state TV.

According to Global Peace Index, Belarus is at 110th position among 162 countries of the world. Global Peace Index is an attempt to measure the relative position of nations’ and regions’ peacefulness.
