Fair World leader Kalyakin explains his participation in the election campaign in an interview to Nasha Niva
In his interview to “Nasha Niva” a candidate from the left-wing ‘Fair World ’party Siarhei Kalyakin explained the reasons behind his participation in the current election campaign. According to him, it is “not safe” for a political party not to participate in the elections in Belarusian conditions. Kalyakin said that his initiative group collected only 40 thousand signatures in his support out of 100 thousand necessary two weeks before the deadline. He also criticized the idea of the boycotte of the elections calling it “a support of Lukashenka’s game”. Kalyakin also was critical of the protest after the presidential election of 2010 calling it “nonsense”.
