Central Election Committee registers four presidential candidates: Lukashenka, Karatkevich, Ulakhovich and Haidukevich

Today, Central Election Committee registered four presidential candidates – the incumbent president Aliaksandr Lukashenka, “Tell the Truth!” campaign activist Tatsiana Karatkevich, head of Belarusian Cossacks Mikalai Ulakhovich, and the head of Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus Siarhei Haidukevich.

Besides, the candidates were also drawn two TV and radio spots on the Belarusian state media for candidates.

Central Election Committee also dismissed complaints on Lukashenka’s initiative group from opposition.

The candidates were also had opportunities to make their speeches. Mikhail Orda, head of Belarusian state workers union spoke instead of Aliaksandr Lukashenka who was absent at the event.
