The BPF Party denies its support to presidential candidate Tatsiana Karatkevich
Another thing that caused hot debates during the opposition press-conference was denying the support for Tatsiana Karatkevich on behalf of the Belarusian People Front party (BPF). “BPF is now working on the candidate, who has a traitor behind it’s back. That is why they are not in our coalition now”, says Mikalai Statkevich. The female candidate called that decision “inconsistent” and said that it is not time for the in-party arguments.
The Russian side is grateful to Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko for his decision to go to Russia as the visit after the presidential election, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus Alexander Surikov said in an interview with the STV channel, BelTA has learned.
“We are grateful for this decision,” the Ambassador said.
