Комиссия во главе с премьер-министром Беларуси М. Мясниковичем займется решением проблем на селе. Об этом 24 января публично заявил президент А. Лукашенко, отметив: «Мы вычленим основные проблемы, подзакрутим гайки на всю катушку в сельскохозяйственных предприятиях».
Однако, несмотря на жесткие заявления А. Лукашенко, сокращение финансирования АПК не будет произведено по политическим причинам. Агропромышленный комплекс является одним из основных бенефициаров проводимой государством социально-экономической политики, получая крупные объемы прямых и косвенных дотаций из государственного бюджета. Выходцы из АПК составляют значительную часть руководящего звена государственного управления на всех уровнях.
